Darn! Sad No buy for me, then... I don't think I was ever planning to come back to P4 unless it was P4 Golden or a New Game+ down the road. All the more reason to hold onto my PS2 copy.

An new expansion would have been nice, but after waiting this long for a PS2 "Classic" upgrade on PSN, I'll take it. Smile

(I've still got one of the backwards-compatible "fat" 60G models that can play PS2, but I'm trying to wean myself off the disks, now that Gamestop is already exiling them out of their stores.
The upgraded Kingdom Hearts and FFX helped considerably, and I still had the PS2 P4 on my Amazon list.)

Finally some extra info that had been omitted. I'd had been trying to find out if the game was going to be released as standalone game but apparently it's going to be available as a DL for the PS4. If they did release it as a physical piece I would have liked to have seen P3 included on it. I had dreamed of this before. It came true but not as I had hoped.

And since I can't find any pre-order listings for a physical piece on Gamestop, looks like it might be a download game on PS3 as well.
Does seem a bit of a sudden announcement if it had been a disk.

This is just the PS2 game thrown in an emulator for PS3. Those don't get disc releases.

Yeah, I know. It's the same deal that happened with another game the MvC2. Thing is I we did have some PS2 released combined together on PS3 like ICO/SoTC. But I guess it doesn't happen all the time. I was really hoping for a physical release for the collection but oh well. At least we can get P5 when that happens.
