So basically everything needed to play the game is in English? Interesting and good choice.

Not interested in this game, but the devs definitely get a pat on the back from me for being so import friendly.

I'm thinking of getting Taiko no Tatsujin V and having lots of english would sure have been nice to hear about.

Funny how music game is hard to be sold overseas whereas overflowing breasty-panty games like senran kagura could hmm :/

But then again if the Miku games could, why not give it a go to license for the west?

You must not have read the article. The producer says the difficulty in releasing it outside of Japan comes from it being a music game, and the music needing to be cleared for licensing as well. If different labels are involved, that means more companies need to sign off on their music being licensed for overseas use, which they may not want. Miku games don't really have these problems, since Sega probably controls everything. It has nothing to do with rhythm games being less sellable than booby games like Senran Kagura.

Hang on. There's no more English text here than usual for most games of it's ilk. I think the Project Diva games and Persona 4 Dancing All Night all had a comparable amount of English text.

You really don't need it, the interface is dead simple, unless you are keen on knowing the story of Don Quest mode

I'm a proud owner of the CRYSTAL BOX. I got it from https://www.nippon-yasan.com/video-games/6895-ps-vita-ia-vt-colorful-crystal-box-limited-edition.html though I had had it preordered since it was announced basically. It was about $10 cheaper than they have it now, but it's a good game and I recommend it to anyone who's a fan of the Project Diva series/franchise since the game play mechanics are VERY similar. I can't say it's easier than Project Diva though... It's a different kind of music game, and the most different I've played yet.

Amiami restocked their crystal boxes and they have first print copies on sale for 8490 yen at:

Ps, they also have the crystal box with the amiami preorder bonus cellphone stand available too.

True, and it won't stop me if I decide to get it, but it sure would be nice to have. And while the menus aren't a big deal (hopefully there's not too much kanji there), having all the song titles in english would be a lot easier to search through quickly.
